Family fun at the Circus

Friday afternoon one of my old co-workers called to let me know that they had free tickets to the circus. They were going out of town so asked if we would like them! Of course we would! We went over Friday night and picked them up and all Lexie talked about the next day was going to the circus.

Saturday morning we started out by attending a birthday party for one of the sweetest little boys that I know. Brody is absolutely adorable. He is super smart and so sweet. I love how he always says "Hi Carol", "Hi Ryan", "Hi Lexie". He just turned 2 and we had the best time celebrating his birthday! Cheryl did an awesome job with Brody's party and made the cutest cupcakes. She has some major talent. :)

After Brody's party we went had some lunch, went home and took naps. Then we headed out to pick up Mimi and go to the circus. We had a blast. We had very good seats and another one of my old coworkers and her niece joined us. It was nice to be able to catch up with Leslie. Lexie loved the circus and did very well even though it STARTED 30 mins before our usual bedtime. We didn't get out until 10:15pm and she was asleep before we even go home. Fun times and great memories made.
