October is here!!

I can't believe it's already almost the middle of October. It seems like this month has just flown by. We are having a pretty good month around here. Last month my camera died on me and so we upgraded to another one. Needless to say, I love my new camera. I have taken well over 500 pictures in the last 11 days. I have had so much fun testing out the new settings.

Two weeks ago we went on a trip with our Lifegroup to see to Passion Play in Eureka Springs. This was an adults only trip and we had a great time. 4 couples, late nights, good food and lots of laughs. It was very refreshing and a big thanks to Monica for doing such an awesome job putting it together.

While we were out of town Lexie stayed with Aunt Nea. She wound up getting sick over the weekend and what we thought was just being tired/carsickness actually turned into a really nasty viral/bacterial infection. My poor baby has NEVER been so sick. Not even when she had Roseola and double ear infections within a week of each other Thanksgiving 2008. She ran a fever for the better part of 4 days and I mean a pretty high fever of 102-103. She finally was better on Thursday but spent most of Thursday afternoon and Friday afternoon relaxing.

You can't even tell that she doesn't feel good in these two pictures but it just happened to be a good couple of hours for her.




This past weekend we celebrated Ryan's 32nd birthday. Before heading out on Saturday I asked Lexie if she would please take a "birthday picture" with daddy. She was more than happy to strike a pose. They are not dressed alike on purpose but it sure did make a good photo!
