Our summer is off to a great start! Friday morning we got up and met our friends Kara and Chloe. Chloe was born the September before Lexie so they are only 4 months apart. We met up with them at Kid City and had the best time. I can honestly say that it just made me smile to watch Lexie and Chloe play together. They are kindred spirits and are alot alike. They had a great time! I had the best time talking with Kara. I have known Kara for close to 3 yrs now but rarely have had the chance to sit down and really get to know her. She is such a sweet heart and we had the best time together. After we finished playing we headed off to Wendy's for lunch. Both Lexie and Chloe kept asking for each other in the car. Those girls are too cute.

After we got home and had a nap we decided to break out the sidewalk chalk. Someone had a GREAT time with that too. Who knew you could eat a "popstickle" and use chalk at the same time. As my sister pointed out "those are some LONG legs".
This is a picture of the "baby birds" we have outside our front door. Lexie is HYSTERICAL and always says "open your mouth baby birds".

For some reason my child is insistent on either wearing her shoes on the WRONG feet OR putting them on incorrectly. I tried to tell her that they were wrong and she just replied "It okay mommy. I like it like that". Okay, Lexie!
LOL! I can relate to those little flip-flops being put on incorrectly. I seriously think Addy does it on purpose. She knows how they go! Glad you are having so much fun. It's a great job to stay home with your baby :)
